SXP Music was founded by James "Semaj" Dority in 2003.who is a muliti-instrumentalist, composer, and former talent scout. Semaj has been blessed with opportunities to work with some of the best in the music industry such as Carl Davis and Charlie Craig. As a performer he has opened for many award-winning acts such as The Wailers, Ziggy Marley, Third World, The Smashing Pumpkins, and the late Toby Keith to name a few. As a composer/songwriter his music is being played on radio stations in Jamaica, France, and here in the USA.  His deals include Famous Music Corp, Paramount Pictures, and Rapsodia Publications (Classical),

SXP Music still inspires the young and old as well with our marketing strategies. Sista Sensi and the Buds reggae, country, and jazz band is celebrating 18 years of performing lead by the vision of SXP Music and Semaj. Their season starts in June through October. Then Sensi leaves to sing in Jamaica.
